Probably bad translation. Or that could just be how it's said in all the Bibles in Japan. Do they have a different word for 'dinner' and 'supper'? If no then therein lies the problem I would say.
Actually the word 最後の晩餐 means "the Last Supper", in the religious sense we're talking here. However, the last kanji opposite the "no" is romanized as "bansan", which translates to "dinner". There is a different word for supper used seperately. But in all references to the Lord's Supper, the kanji used is "bansan".
So, basically the translator should not have been so literal with the kanji. :P

I heard it's called the Last Dinner tour book. Can't decide if I think that's poor translation, or wickedly funny parody.
