Hi, amby! So cool that you're in the video! Where are you in the clip?

Ikuni and I haven't spotted ourselves. When the camera swept the crowd at Slim's, we were on the other side of the venue.

And is Hyde adorable or what when he stands next to that car parked on a slant? :-)

Did you see me at the fillmore? I couldnt but ill see... Hyde is VERY cool looking but it feels weird talking about like he is so "sexy" or whatever because he is old enough to be my mom or dad. He is exactly as old as my mom, 38! But I still love him. My mom loves him too! A Lot! I hope he makes another solo album...
or draw like he wanted to before...

I ordered it, but have to wait for some L'arc stuff to be released before it ships -- oh well.

I think I spotted myself in the Fillmore crowd in the book - so maybe my silly face will make it on to the DVD as well.

I sometimes forget that I actually saw him - it seems like a bit of a dream now. Hard to believe I hopped on a plane to CA and watched his sexy self rock all over the stage. He is fantastic and I just fell more in love with him after the show.

and since I am only about 5-6 yrs younger than Hyde - I can drop the "sexy" bomb whenever I like :o)

julnyes, let us know if you're on the DVD. :-)

It sometimes seems like a dream to us, too! When Ikuni and I first saw the San Francisco footage we were sooo excited. Somehow, it made it more real. It really did happen! We really were there!

Well I couldnt find myself.

I know! It was just like a dream like he is too good to be truce! It took me forever to realize it was really HYDE! I still cant believe I saw him... He has grown so much from what he was in the 90s...

Have you (anyone) seen the Midnight Celebration song on the DVD and live? Why does he always go crazy and scream? Remember julnyes? At the Fillmore. He was messing up the lyrics and all on the ground and screaming and sounding like a girl or something? That was cool thoygh. He was so happy. He cept smiling this shy smile :)

@musing - I kinda spaced out a few times during the show ha - I would be bopping my head along to a song and then suddenly think "you idiot, this isn't a cd recording, look to your right!! He is standing right there" and then I would look up and there was Hyde singing the song - better than on the recording. It was definitely something I'd like the chance to get used to.

@nikki - The smile that stuck out the most for me was when he joined us in our amusement during Furotons (??) CM. None of us could figure out what the heck he was saying (including Hyde I think), but we all cheered anyway. Hyde was watching and he had this huge amused grin on his face.

I also remember when he started rolling around on the ground. I wanted him to get up! It was cutting into my ogling time. (lol)

Yeah, julyness! And when Hiroki (bass) was trying to speak english introducing the band, Hyde was all laughing and smiling at him! That was cool. Hiroki IS funny.

I couldnt see Hyde on the ground but its on the DVD. Thats cool that he can continue playing while on the ground like at the end of Unexpected on the DVD.

hmm was it Hiroki I was actually talking about --it was the blond guy -- I have to admit, I have no clue who his band is outside of Kaz ... same goes for all of L'Arc's solo projects. I just focus on Hyde / Tetsu / Ken /Yukihiro .. not the guys around them...

I didn't notice myself on the DVD in my first viewing, I probably didn't make the cut.

I love the footage for the US, but the main footage was a bit diffcult - a little too much screaming for my ears to take. It is weird because he sang so beautifully in the US and then went home and screamed his way through a concert. I hope he got whatever he needed out of his system and doesn't do that again.

Yeah. He is getting sorta too old to be acting like that... or somethibng... He DOES have a very beautiful voice like in Perfect Moment. I love that song :) So beautiful... I wonder what it is about Midnight Celebration that makes him go all crazy like that... Anyway, I agree with all you said in the last paragraph, julyness.

What happened to this blog? Did the posters stop loving Hyde or something? :/

Anonymous said...

I dont know... Posters? I guess Hyde is not doing anything yet... probaly resting... OH! But he made a white version of the Jesus towel and I guess he is doing a "Danger V" (whatever that is) concert (its in japanese so I guess its in Japan...). Thery have some Hyde and L'arc en Ciel stuff on j-xyz.com though!

His 39th birthday is on January 29... I wonder what hes going to do next!

There's still been a lot happening... His anniversary and the l'anniversary concerts (which were awesome btw) and stuff...

I thought he was only 36? At least according to this cap: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v26/kaine/blog/mezamashi02.jpg

Anonymous said...

I saw nothing of the l'anniversary. Is it on youtube or did you go there?

No. Hyde is 38. He doesnt really look like it but he is. Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyde_%28singer%29

The l'anniversary has been up on their official site for months. The concerts were Nov. 25 + 26, and yes I did attend the 26 show XD There's a few clips of it on youtube and it was broadcast on TV in Japan on the 23 but no one's uploaded the whole thing yet >.>

http://larc-en-ciel.com/

2006-1969 still equals 37 XD; I'm inclined to take Mezamashi's word for it rather than Wikipedia though, since it's a TV program over in Japan :/ I'm just surprised they've released his age after so long! lol

Hey, sherlock,

Still love Hyde! We just designed this blog for his solo projects, so that's why we're not posting right now.

We'd made another blog for L'Arc (Get Out From the Shell) but unfortunately haven't kept it up.

But, thanks for letting others know about the anniversary concert!

Anonymous said...

Ah, thanks for the explanation, I was kind of worried you guys weren't posting anymore :)

I just found out that YouTube has some clips of the l'Anniversary concert. It says Hyde is 36... so Monday he will be 37... I though he would be 38... weird... Anyway, Hyde dances like Michael Jackson (who is back, by the way) and it was on Ken's whatever birthday (how old is he?) and stuff... Do you think Hyde is going to retire soon... He should make an album of him playing guitar or something... I will always love Hyde.
